Lauren fell in love with movement from a young age when she started dancing, taking a particular interest in Classical Ballet. Lauren started Pilates at the age of 12 as a conditioning method of training whilst dancing full-time. Pilates maintained her strength, mobility and prevented injury during the high demands of her ballet training. Lauren decided to expand her knowledge of movement and completed her Pilates Diploma and Certificate through Polestar Pilates graduating in 2015. Lauren is passionate about catering to people’s individual needs and providing support and guidance to each session. Over the years, Lauren has enjoyed teaching dancers, people in the aging population, group Mat and Reformer classes and a wide range of clients with different capabilities in the studio.
Lauren is always learning and loves ongoing Educational Courses and working with Mentors and Educators in her field to expand her knowledge to further support her clients. Lauren practises Pilates daily. She loves how it calms her nervous system, makes her feel grounded, brings her back to her centre and provides a sensation of strength and safety in her body and mind.
Lauren is also a Mentor for Polestar Pilates Australia, sharing her expertise and supporting up and coming Pilates Instructors in training.
Lauren believes Pilates creates a powerful and personal journey for every person. Lauren brings warmth, light and fun to the studio and is focused on helping every client achieve their goals and improve their movement.
